Ageism Unmasked: Exploring Age Bias and How to End It

Dr. Tracey Gendron, chair of the Department of Gerontology at VCU and executive director of the Virginia Center on Aging, will discuss topics covered in her new book, Ageism Unmasked: Exploring Age Bias and How to End It.
In the book, Tracey challenges stereotypes and discrimination based on age while sharing strategies to help create an anti-ageist society. Following her talk, Tracey will answer audience questions. She will also sign copies of her book, which will be available for purchase at the event. One lucky attendee will win a free copy!
